To the beach we go!

LIFE IS SHORT-TAKE TIME FOR ADVENTURE

I had a long weekend off so I wanted to take advantage of it! We took a little trip over to the Olympic Peninsula. This included taking a ferry ride from Coupeville, and driving a large loop around the Olympic National Forest. Everything worked out SO smooth. We weren't rushed at all. We stopped whenever and wherever we wanted.

I love the feeling of not having to worry about time. We spend our whole lives worrying about something and on this trip I got to reflect and just let it be. Whether or not my boyfriend new I had these feelings- it felt good. The beach and being outside in nature is truly my medication.

Our route :)

Ruby Beach

Beautiful mossy forest

Patrick being crazy :P

Sometimes all we got to see was soupy fog but once we walked down to the beach there were so amazing rock structures and the beach itself was all rocks. You were wet but you didn't even care because everything still was so perfect.

We also took some short walks in the mist to look at the beautiful mossy forest. Can you say AMAZING!? There is something about the trees that completely re-energizes me! Their beauty and power is so amazing. Some of the roots would be sticking out of the ground and would be as big as my car, it was insane!

Break away from your routine and feed your soul with the excitement of walking in a place you hadn’t walked before…Even if it’s just a few miles away.

Vance Creek Bridge
The Vance Creek Bridge, built in 1929, was part of the Simpson Railroad which was one of the last logging railroad operations in the continental United States. The Vance Creek Bridge has been out of operation since the 1950's and spans over 400 feet long and 347 feet high making it one of the highest railway arch bridges ever built in the United States.

It was suchhhhh a fun trip :) If you don' t know where this spot is I recommend looking it up! It is def one of the Northwests best kept secrets!
